Major projects promote Hongshan's development

A total of 22 major projects announced their commencement, completion, beginning of operation, and signing in Hongshan Sub-district Industrial Park, Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) on March 27.

With a total investment of 10.12 billion yuan ($1.54 billion), the 22 projects focused on high-end precision manufacturing, the transportation industrial chain, new materials, and biomedicine.

Among them, two projects will be carried out with investment on a single project exceeding 1 billion yuan. The annual sales of the 22 projects are expected to reach 13.17 billion yuan after being put into operation, according to officials.

Cui Rongguo, deputy Party secretary of WND, said that the management department of Hongshan sub-district should offer high-quality and efficient government services to support the development of these projects.

Cui added that the projects are expected to drive the high-quality economic development of the district and help build WND into a leading industrial cluster in Wuxi.
