WND government drives high-quality development of enterprises

The government of the Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) is currently working to help enterprises transform and upgrade in an effort to realize high-quality development.

Three enterprises in the WND were big winners at the 2019 Wuxi Mayor Quality Awards, namely Infineon Technologies AG, Wuxi Huaguang Boiler Co, and Wuxi Weifu Group.

Established in 2006, the Wuxi Mayor Quality Award is the highest honor given by the Wuxi Municipal People's Government to leading enterprises and organizations with advanced management techniques.

Mao Junhua, deputy director of Wuxi Huaguang Boiler Co, said they have received international standard of boiler manufacturing from the government, which increased their competitiveness in the global market.

The government encouraged leading companies to assist other companies through their advanced technology and vast experience.

Wuxi Lead Intelligent Equipment Co spends 14 percent of its marketing revenue on research and development and establishing a digitally-based quality management system. By sharing its flexible and intelligent production capabilities with others, the company is serving as an "international first-class intelligent manufacturing solution service provider" for other enterprises.

The government has also invited three professionals to offer lessons to enterprises on how to achieve intelligent transformation and improve their overall quality.

In addition, leading global biopharmaceutical company AstraZeneca demonstrated its citywide chest pain center, the first of its kind in the country, which was developed in cooperation with the local government of Wuxi with the help of the city's internet of things industry.

According to the WND government, the district will focus on developing policies for government-enterprise cooperation and continue leading the development of enterprises in the future.
