A number of enterprises in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District are working to collect protective materials to combat the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic.
Huijie Internet of Things Technology Research Institute (Wuxi) Co., Ltd in Jiangxi sub-district, along with several other companies, has successfully found urgently-needed protective materials in Finland.
The 20,000 materials included medical protective suits, disposable surgical masks, and medical gloves valued at about 160,000 yuan ($22,918). The first batch of donations arrived just one week after being ordered with the help of the Chinese embassy in Finland and Sumino International Education Company.
The donations were transported, inspected, and cleared customs as soon as possible. Juneyao Airlines and Yuantong Express shipped the donations for free.
