IC design institute opens in WND

The Intelligent Integrated Circuit Design Technology Institute affiliated with the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute opened in Wuxi National Hi-Tech District on Dec 13.

The institute has brought together more than 10 top talents in integrated circuit design to research intelligent integrated circuit design technology, including intelligent IoT chips, intelligent data processing chips, intelligent radar sensing chips, intelligent processors, artificial intelligence chips, electronic chips for smart cars, and smart chip designs.

The institute is expected to take part in the formulation of international standards on integrated circuit design and help build WND into a hub for integrated circuit design.

Thirty skilled workers and 50 enterprises involved in integrated circuit design are expected to be cultivated by the institute.

WND Party Secretary Wang Jinjian attended the opening and toured the institute's exhibition area. Wang spoke highly of the institute and was optimistic about its success.
