Chinese e-commerce giant JD signed an agreement to develop four projects in the Wuxi National Hi-Tech District on Nov 28.
The four projects, receiving a total of 3 billion yuan in investment, include the Sunan E-Commerce Park, a cross-border trade operation center, a new retail development center, and a JD Cloud innovation center.
The Sunan E-Commerce Park will carry out internet innovation projects related to e-commerce, intelligent technology, and finance. The JD Cloud innovation center will help develop smart households, intelligent logistics systems, and an internet of vehicles in WND.

Wuxi Party Secretary Li Xiaomin said that the city is currently promoting the development of new industries, as well as the integration of the intelligent manufacturing and modern service industries.
JD's projects are expected to play an important role in developing e-commerce and foreign trade in Wuxi, Li said. The government is expected to continue offering its full support and improve its services for the company.
Ji Yuewei, vice chairman of JD, spoke highly of Wuxi's business environment and government services. He also expressed a desire to deepen cooperation with WND in cross-border e-commerce and intelligent manufacturing.
