Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park was established in 2010 as a State-level park with National Radio, Film and TV Bureau approval, and was built by that bureau and the Jiangsu provincial government.
It covers 6 square kilometers and has a central area, production assembly area, industrial support area, and further development area.
Its idea is to set an example of common development focused on movie production, digital film, such as 3D, and IMAX, and building an open, shared public service site.
In addition, its goal is to bring in top technology and talent, stimulate industrial development, and establish an improved post production base for China's film industry and international market to act as an industrial demonstration area that integrates modern science and technology with China's characteristic movie and TV culture.
