2019 TiD Quality Competitiveness Assembly overflows with 'Smart Ecology'

This year's TiD Quality Competitiveness Assembly was held in the China National Convention Center from Aug 4 to 7, the sixth time the TiD event has been held at that venue.

The meeting was co-organized by the Zhongguancun Software Industry Quality Innovation Alliance (IQ Alliance), the China System and Software Process Improvement Association (SPI China), the China Software Cost Measurement (SCM) and the Beijing Software and Information Service Industry Association (BSIA).

At the opening ceremony, five industry leaders from around the world gave keynote speeches and insights on the "Next Generation of Software Development: Building a Smart Ecology".

Tan Xiaodong, director of the Beijing Quality & Standard Research Development Institute (QSRDI) and secretary-general of the Beijing Metrology Association, who has long been engaged in research and preparation of relevant regulations, policies, management and technical regulations in the field of quality, gave a speech on Cross-Border Integration of International Quality Compliance (IQC) to Create an Eco-High-Quality Development of the Software Industry.

Bai Pu, chief expert of China Software Cost Measurement (SCM), shared her views on 2019 China Software Industry Benchmark Data, interpreting the recent development trends of the software information industry.

Wu Hanqing, chief security scientist of Alibaba Cloud, created the security systems for Alibaba, Taobao, and Alipay. Wu introduced the audience to the cutting-edge world with his address on What Kind of Smart System Does the World Need?

Pia-Maria Thoren, founder of the Stockholm-based Agile consulting company GreenBullet spoke about "Agile Principles in the Digital World", arguing that leadership practices need to adapt to new organizational paradigms.

Zhang Ximeng (Simon Zhang), the Thousand Talents Program expert and founder and CEO of GrowingIO, shared his thoughts on Industrial Trends and Latest Insights in Data Analysis at the opening ceremony.

In the sub-forums, the 8th China Software Testing Conference: Opportunities and Challenges of Software Testing in the Intelligent Age; the Intelligent Testing Forum; the Artificial Intelligence and Software Forum; and the Intelligent Software Development Forum focused on "intelligence" and the ways to "tap" the quality competitiveness of software.

Besides traditional forums such as China Test, Agile China, SPI China, Big Data, and ISBSG IT Confidence Conference, the topics of Smart Banking, Intelligent Software Development, Industrial Internet, Digital Transformation, and Coaching Management were also added to the agenda of this year's assembly.

The assembly invites renowned domestic and foreign experts from enterprises,universities, and technology alliances every year. This year was no exception.   

Invited guests included: Blockchain expert Huang Lianjin, agile development expert Chen Jiaxing, deep learning algorithm engineer Zhou Zhirui, Internet expert Xu Zhouping, Huawei engineer Yin Jie, IFlytek test director Song Ming, Baidu senior test engineer Chen Long, Eggplant Asia Pacific President Deng Mingshi, TAL AI Lab quality and engineering efficiency director Zhao Ming, Ebusbar (Shenzhen Busbar Sci-Tech Development Company) vice general-managers Zeng Fanhui and Xiao Ran, Erickson College International (China)’s coach He Qiao (Angie), Gtraining chief innovation advisor Zhang Zhengming, CITIC Group’s R&D director Yang Xiaobin and other leading figures.

According to the host, the annual TiD assembly has now been held for six years. Looking forward, the assembly will remain committed to promoting intelligent research and development ecologies supportive of high-quality growth in China's software industry.
