Zhongguancun held a meeting to connect demands and supplies of new technologies and new products for smart public security on Jan 18.

The meeting gathered more than 40 Zhongguancun innovation-oriented companies and over 80 government departments and state owned companies.

Over 100 technologies and products were exhibited at the meeting, attracting participants’ interests on product technical indicators, applications, purchase prices, and follow-up services.

Six companies including Beijing TopSky Century Holdings Co Ltd promoted their projects on smart fire-fighting, smart public security, smart safe campus and smart security monitoring.

At the meeting, attendees were concerned regarding the technologies applied on intelligent voice analysis system, intelligent voice pickups, and panoramic recording machine. This kind of technology is like a "machine's hearing system", which allows the machine to significantly improve productivity by recognizing and understanding the voice signal and turning them into the appropriate text or command.

Zhongguancun explores other supporting policies such as R & D subsidies and subsidized loan with discounted interests to promote local companies to develop new technologies and products.

In 2017, Zhongguancun organized matchmaking meeting of new technologies and new products in various campuses and three new technologies and new products of Zhongguancun signed a government procurement agreement with Beijing Union University.

These products were applied to Beijing Union University’s intelligent unmanned driving car project, campus security construction and the construction of smart classroom.
