ROPAplasty, the knee joint replacement surgery robotic system, and AIJOINT, the artificial intelligence joint replacement surgery simulation software, both independently developed by Longwood Valley Medtech in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), have recently been included in the second group of the "First Major Technical Equipment Catalog (Medical Health and Other Fields) for Beijing in 2024".

This marks another significant breakthrough for Longwood Valley Medtech in the field of orthopedic artificial intelligence and surgical robots.

ROPAplasty was approved by the National Medical Products Administration for listing in August 2024. It employs artificial intelligence deep learning technology and is a high-end medical device that integrates multidisciplinary high-tech content.

The product has undergone tens of thousands of tests and refinements, bringing together the collective knowledge and experience of over a hundred national experts. Through continuous deep learning and growth from over 100,000 cases, it has been intricately integrated with "digital and intelligent brain, hand, and eye", embodying the capabilities of simulating of senior orthopedic experts. It can accurately and perfectly implement personalized surgical plans formulated by artificial intelligence during surgery.

AIJOINT was approved by the National Medical Products Administration for listing in October 2023. It uses domestically pioneering deep-learning technology to perform three-dimensional reconstruction and segmentation of formatted CT images, automatically identifying anatomical landmarks. It can assist doctors in simulating adult hip joint and total knee joint replacement surgeries, improving the precision of artificial joint placement and reducing postoperative complications.
