The 2024 Beijing Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development kicks off in the Beijing E-Town.

The 2024 Beijing Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development is being held in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) from August 27 to 30.

Nearly a thousand Chinese and overseas Chinese representatives, including Nobel Prize winners, overseas Chinese academicians, recipients of the Chinese Overseas Contribution Award, outstanding overseas alumni from universities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, as well as innovative and entrepreneurial talents, are participating in the event.

"Beijing E-Town has achieved remarkable results in talent introduction, enterprise settlement, and industrial development, making a deep impressing on me. The hosting of this conference is an important opportunity to gather the wisdom and strength of overseas Chinese talents. I hope that we will actively contribute valuable opinions and suggestions to support the work related to overseas Chinese affairs and economic development in Beijing," said Lin Ruichao, a traditional medicine consultant for the World Health Organization and a foreign academician of the French National of Pharmacy.
