Leading domestic automotive-grade chip company Semidrive Technology has relocated its Beijing office to the Dazu Industrial Park in the Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) of the Chinese capital.
Qiu Yujing, founder of Semidrive Technology, said Beijing E-Town offers comprehensive support to enterprises like hers, including in the areas of policy, resources and business environment.
This support has provided Semidrive with greater confidence to invest in the research and development of cutting-edge automotive chip technologies.
Founded in 2018, Semidrive Technology is dedicated to providing high-performance, high-reliability automotive-grade chip products and solutions for central computing and zonal control electronic architecture, covering areas such as intelligent cockpits and intelligent vehicle control.
Two months ago, at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Semidrive released a new generation of automotive-grade central processors and zonal controller chips.
The "1+N" central computing and zonal control architecture launched by Semidrive uses one central computing platform (CCU) to provide centralized computing power for vehicle intelligence, with N flexible and configurable zonal controllers (ZCUs) to meet the needs of different models.
As a development hub for intelligent connected vehicles, Beijing E-Town has already attracted more than 120 such companies, forming two important vehicle manufacturing bases for Beijing Benz and Xiaomi Auto. It has also established several platform support institutions, including the China Automotive Technology and Research Center and the National Innovation Center.
Since relocating to Beijing E-Town, Semidrive has cooperated with multiple local vehicle manufacturers, upstream and downstream ecosystem enterprises and the National Innovation Center.
