In the industrial sector, enterprises in the Yixian Economic Development Zone are operating at full capacity. Huangshan Chuangdu Auto Parts saw a 30 percent year-on-year jump in second-quarter orders. The county's above-scale industrial output hit 438 million yuan ($64.46 million) from January to April, while total investment in key projects reached 1.01 billion yuan in the first five months.
Twenty-seven new investment projects worth 2.397 billion yuan have been signed, including 13 each valued at over 100 million yuan.
Cultural tourism grows robustly via creative upgrades. Seven immersive experiences, including Hongcun's AR guides, metaverse VR and the viral "drinkable Hui ink" beverage, have launched. Fueled by the hit TV drama Family Inheritance, its filming sites are hot check-in spots. Scenic areas drew 3 million visitors from January to May, up 6.35 percent year-on-year.
To improve people's livelihoods, the county has restored irrigation canals, upgraded rural roads and expanded smart elderly care.
Looking ahead, Yixian aims to sprint toward its mid-year targets, writing a new chapter of high-quality development with concrete achievements.
