The 2019 Chinese Society for Cell Biology (CSCB)-Organelle Seminar concluded on July 21at Yunnan University (YNU).

The seminar was hosted by CSCB-Organelle and organized by the School of Life Sciences at YNU. It brought together a number of researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and medical professors from universities such as Tsinghua University, the University of Science and Technology of China, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and more to deliver lectures on protein decomposition and lysosome biology to more than 200 teachers and students at YNU. 

The seminar was aimed at sharing recent research in the field of organelle biology and discussing the key challenges and prospects of the discipline.

Many research achievements related to organelle biology were shared during the seminar, which not only served as a communicating platform for scholars, but also provided examples to help researchers carry out diversified studies in their workplaces.
