Workshop on fiscal and tax law opens at YNU

The opening ceremony for the 2019 Teacher Training Workshop on Fiscal and Tax Law was held at Yunnan University (YNU) on July 16.
Xiong Wei, vice-president of the China Association for Fiscal and Tax Law, chaired the meeting. Li Cunpeng, director of the research department of the China Law Society, Liu Kunlun, deputy secretary-general of the Ministry of Education, Liu Jianwen, president of the China Association for Fiscal and Tax Law, and Gao Wei, dean of the YNU Law School, were in attendance.
During the opening ceremony, Xiong Wei briefed attendees on the purpose of the workshop and the current fiscal and tax law.
Li Cunpeng approved of the achievements made by the China Association for Fiscal and Tax Law.
Liu Kunlun pointed out that fiscal and tax law is a newly developed subject and noted that the shortage of teachers for the subject provides a great number of job opportunities.
Gao Wei thanked the China Law Society, the Ministry of Education, and the China Association for Fiscal and Tax Law for supporting YNU’s workshop and extended his best wishes to attendees.
Liu Jianwen delivered a speech about the development of the fiscal and tax law. He stressed the significance of the subject and noted that the workshop provides a great platform for attendees to discuss fiscal and tax law.
After the speech, Professor Chen Zhi and Vice-professor Zhou Changfa shared the workshop itinerary with attendees.
