Delegation from Ministry of Education visits YNU

Yunnan University (YNU) held a symposium with the delegation from the Ministry of Education on July 19 to promote the “Double First-Class” initiative.
Zhang Renhe, vice-president of Fudan University, chaired the meeting. Yang Lin, deputy director of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, along with Ding Zhongtao and Zhao Qihua, vice-presidents of YNU, were in attendance.
During the meeting, Zhang briefed attendees on the purpose of the delegation’s visit and shared the itinerary with them.
Yang delivered a report on YNU’s development plan and proposed enhancing the university’s cooperation with the Yunnan provincial government.
Zhao made a speech about the current state of YNU and suggested strengthening cooperation with YNU’s partner schools and the Ministry of Education.
The two parties discussed the development of YNU, and made plans for the university’s future development.
