Faculty teaching competition concludes at YNU

The 13th Yunnan University (YNU) Teaching Competition for Faculty wrapped up on June 1.
The competition, which lasted two months, consisted of primary and final contests.
Wang Wenbing, a teacher in the School of Marxism, and Wang Yang, a teacher in the School of Agricultural Studies, won in the liberal arts and science categories, respectively.
This year’s competition was the largest ever, with the number of participants reaching 237. Fifty teachers made it to the final.
A number of renowned professors and experts were invited to serve as judges, providing feedback on the teaching abilities of the participants.
In 2017, the twice-a-year competition became an annual event.
