YNU professor’s paper published in state-level periodical

Professor Fang Tie of the Institute for the Study of Southwest China’s Borderland Ethnic Minorities at Yunnan University (YNU) recently had his research published in Xinhua Digest, a state-level periodical. 

In his essay, Professor Fang discussed studies on the history of the Chinese borderlands, and shared his insights into some of the most prominent issues with the studies.

His essay also summarized a number of scholars’ thoughts on the formation and history of the Chinese borderlands, the formation of East Asian countries in ancient times, and relations between Asian countries in ancient times. 

Professor Fang made suggestions on how to better study these issues. 

Fang Tie is a YNU professor interested in the study of Chinese borderlands. He has published a number of papers in a variety of respected periodicals. 

Xinhua Digest is sponsored by the People’s Publishing House and published by the Xinhua Digest Publishing House. The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television manages the publication.
