Yunnan University (YNU) student Liao Ciaocheng emerged victorious at the Southwest China session of the College Computer Systems & Programming Contest at Sichuan University on May 18.

Xiang Hongxin, a master’s student at YNU’s School of Software, took third place in the competition.

The College Computer Systems & Programming Contest was organized by the China Computer Federation and thus is known as the CCF CCSP in China.

Initiated in 2016, the contest is aimed at college students in China, and has been held for three consecutive years. It has evolved into a talent recruitment platform for universities and companies.

The 2019 CCF CCSP was held simultaneously in seven places across the country. Winners of the competition will have the opportunity to compete in the finals, which will be held in October.
