A delegation from Yunnan University (YNU) recently visited Dehong autonomous prefecture in Yunnan to carry out research into the development of the local digital economy and offer advice to locals.

The delegation belonged to the YNU division of the China National Democratic Construction Association.

The research team visited Dehong Teachers College, Yunnan Dai Medicine Co Ltd, Bohong Industrial Co Ltd, the Lancang-Mekong International Vocational School, and customs authorities in Ruili city, where they discussed the development of schools and companies with local representatives.

The YNU delegation proposed solutions to dilemmas local representatives had encountered throughout their development process.

The delegation also met with representatives from the local division of the China National Democratic Construction Association in Dehong and agreed to strengthen exchanges and promote local economic growth and the construction of the Lancang-Mekong Economic Corridor.
