Yunnan University (YNU) held the second in a series of business lectures on April 19.
Guo Zhenyu, chairman of Winona Biotechnology Company and president of the Association for Yunnan University’s Entrepreneur Alumni, was invited to deliver a lecture at the school. His speech was themed around the development strategy of his company.
The lecture was organized by YNU’s School of Business and Tourism, Qidi Business School, the General Association for YNU Alumni, and the Association for YNU’s Entrepreneur Alumni.
During his lecture, Guo shared his insights into the development strategy of a company from a marketing, operation, and new retail perspective.
He maintained that leaders of modern companies should think in terms of the internet.
“The distance between products and customers is only 35 centimeters long - - the length of a mobile phone screen. Thus, your competitors compete with you for a fragment of the customer’s time,” Guo quipped.
The lecture series was launched by YNU’s MBA Education Center with the intent of inviting renowned scholars and entrepreneurs to give lectures on business, economics, and finance.
