YNU joins insurance giant, develops training program

Yunnan University (YNU) recently teamed up with Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China to develop a training program with the aim of providing professional finance managers for the firm.
The agreement with the insurance giant was officially signed at a ceremony held on Feb 25, in Kunming, capital of Yunnan province.
The meeting was attended by Zhou Aigong, general manager of the Yunnan branch of Ping An Insurance; a number of other managers from the company; Lyu Wanqing, dean of YNU’s School of Business and Tourism Management and the Qidi School of Business, as well as teachers who will provide training to students participating in the program.
The program is being launched to meet the increasing demand of the Chinese insurance and finance giant for professional managers with comprehensive technical and personal skills.
Ping An Insurance is the country’s first group offering comprehensive financial services, covering the fields of security, trusts, banking, asset management and enterprise annuity.
