The Yunnan University (YNU) Alumni Association for Entrepreneurs was established at YNU’s alumni congress held on Dec 23, 2018.

The regulations for the newly-established association as well as the members of the first council of the organization were decided by attendees at the congress.

I hope that all members of the association will carry forward the spirit of entrepreneurship and contribute to the development of YNU, said Lin Wenxun, president of YNU and president of the university’s alumni association.

Guo Zhenyu, the newly appointed president of the YNU Alumni Association for Entrepreneurs, spoke of his hopes for the new organization, saying that it would connect businesspeople who graduated from YNU, promote the university’s development, and help assist charity projects.

Members of the association held a discussion on what activities it should hold and the logistics of putting on events, as well as discussing financial management and other issues of importance.

Moving forward, the association will serve as a bridge linking entrepreneurs graduating from YNU, increasing the potential for business cooperation between members of the university’s alumni.
