YNU shines at awards for employment, training

Yunnan University (YNU) students were showered with awards at the final of the 2018 Yunnan Simulative Employment Competition, which was held at YNU, on Dec 8. 

The competition was held by Yunnan Department of Education, Yunnan Employment Service Center for College Students, YNU and Kunming talent service center. 

The event attracted more than 100,000 students from over 70 universities and colleges in Yunnan province. After several rounds, 406 contestants made it into the final. 

YNU secured a total of 12 awards, including two first prizes, one second prize, three third prizes, and one award for its human resources department. In addition, the university took home three awards recognizing skilled workers with great potential, one prize honoring YNU for its efforts to encourage students to take part in the contest, and one award to honor a YNU teacher for his training. 

YNU was ranked first among all Yunnan universities and colleges participating in the contest in terms of both encouraging talented individuals and providing excellent training.
