A delegation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) led by the university’s president Li Yuanyuan visited Yunnan University (YNU), on Nov 27. 

In the company of Zhu Huashan, deputy director of Yunnan education department; Yang Lin, Party secretary of YNU and Lin Wenxun, president of YNU, the visiting delegation visited the university’s Institute for Belt and Road, and listened to Yang’s introductions about the institute’s recent research. 

Li expressed his recognitions of YNU for what it had done to serve the nation’s Belt and Road Initiative, and offered his suggestions for developing the Institute for Belt and Road. 

Li also expressed his hopes that both universities would enhance collaboration and exchanges to promote mutual development.
