Yunnan University (YNU) held an activity with the aim of promoting awareness of drug control among students on Nov 27. 

The university’s public security department designed an exhibition in front of the dining hall, showcasing various kinds of drug models. Brochures explaining the features and harms of drugs were also given out. 

On the evening of Nov 27, Wang Jian, deputy director of the dug control committee in Chenggong district and director of the district’s public security bureau, was invited to deliver a lecture on drug prevention. 

In his lecture, he talked about various drug-related issues based on his own working experience, including drug control history, the harms that drugs can do to people, the current conditions of drug control work and how to prevent drugs.
