Yunnan University (YNU) held a tea art training program for female faculty members, on Nov 14 and 15.

Nearly 60 faculty members participated in the program, which was taught by Wang Bo, a national-level tea art master, and deputy director of the female workers’ committee at YNU’s labor union.

Wang began the lesson with a brief history of Chinese tea, and she then introduced the six major categories of Chinese tea, as well as explaining the proper ways to drink it.

She also taught the participants in the training program how to use different kinds of tea cups, such as glass cups, tea bowls with covers, and dark-red enameled potteries.
