A delegation from Cambodia visited the School of Journalism at Yunnan University (YNU), on Nov 14.

The delegation consisted of around 10 people, including journalists and officials from the Cambodian Ministry of Information.

After an invitation from Yunnan Broadcasting and TV Station, the delegation visited China to receive professional journalism training, with their visit to YNU being part of the training program.

During their stay at YNU, they visited the national-level teaching center at the university’s School of Journalism, where they learned about media education in China.

Shan Xiaohong, vice-dean of YNU’s School of Journalism, delivered a lecture on the latest trends in Chinese media development to the visiting group. Both sides held discussions on the appearance and development of smart media.

The Cambodian delegation expressed their intentions to strengthen academic exchanges, professional training and overseas internship opportunities with YNU’s School of Journalism.
