Classical concert performed at Yunnan University

A concert by Kunming Philharmonic Orchestra was staged at the auditorium of Yunnan University (YNU), on Nov 16, as part of the university’s program to give students a full cultural experience. 

Nearly 1,200 faculty members and students attended the event. 

The band was conducted by Oleg Sheremeta from the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and the concertmaster was Professor Rohman from the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. 

The members of the orchestra were from 15 countries, with many of them from prestigious music academies and theaters, such as the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi, the Belorussian State Academic Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Mongolia.
