Wang Yanzhong, dean of the Institute for Ethnology and Anthropology at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and a recognized expert in social security and ethnology, was invited to lecture at the 89th Donglu High-level Academic Forum, Yunnan University (YNU), on Nov 15. 

His lecture focused on promoting the unity of ethnic groups and building a national sense of community. 

In his lecture, he spoke positively of the work to promote unity among ethnic groups in different areas based on his research.

In addition, Wang briefed the audience on different models for dealing with problems between different ethnic groups, giving the attendees the benefit of his expertise.
