Yunnan University (YNU) soccer team won eighth place at the final for universities in Southwest China of the 2018 Kelme China Five-a-side Soccer Competition for College Students, at Guangxi University of Nationalities, on Nov 7.

The six-day event was hosted by the Federation of University Sports of China, involving 12 teams competing for the top spot of the southwest regional final. 

This is the first time that YNU soccer team has taken part in the China Five-a-side Soccer Competition for College Students since the event was launched in 2003.
