A delegation led by Yang Peou, secretary-general of the Royal Academy of Cambodia visited Yunnan University (YNU) to discuss strengthening the links between the two sides, on Nov 12. 

YNU President Lin Wenxun and other representatives at the university met with the delegation.

During the meeting, both Lin and Yang briefed each other on the current work of their respective institutions, and signed a memorandum of understanding. 

Both sides also held discussions on establishing a China-Cambodia research center in both countries, as well as the possibility of YNU establishing a Chinese language and culture center in Cambodia and providing training and scholarships for Cambodian participants.
