An opening ceremony was held at Yunnan University (YNU), on Sept 4, marking the start of the 2018 Bangladesh-China Youth Camp.

Zhang Li, vice-president of YNU, delivered a speech, announcing the start of the camp. Representatives of the delegation from Bangladesh also delivered opening remarks, and then gave a performance featuring singing, dancing, and a martial arts demonstration. 

During the activity, which lasted two weeks, the Bangladeshi visitors spent a considerable amount of time with YNU students and visited different places to learn about Chinese architecture, environmental conservation projects, China’s economic achievements, and to learn more about the everyday lives of Chinese people.
