John Danielson, president of Chartwell Hamilton Group, led a delegation to Yunnan University (YNU) to discuss furthering the company’s partnership with the university and Yunnan Provincial Government, during a two-day business trip to Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, on Sept 5 and 6.

Chen Shun, vice-governor of Yunnan province, met with the delegation in Kunming, and discussed the benefits of academic exchanges.

Accompanied by Chen Shibo, a top official of Yunnan education supervision committee; Yang Lin, Party secretary of YNU; Zhang Li, vice-president of the university, and other representatives from YNU, the delegation toured the campus and were briefed on the history of the university and its achievements in recent years.

During the visit, the two sides agreed to broaden their partnership by developing more cooperative education programs between YNU and universities in the United States.
