A delegation from Tianjin University visits Yunnan University to conduct exchange activities, on July 14.

A delegation from Tianjin University visited Yunnan University (YNU) as part of an exchange activity on July 14.

The delegation was led by Li Jiajun, Party secretary of Tianjin University, and was greeted by Yang Lin, Party secretary of YNU; Zhang Li, vice president of YNU; Hao Shumei, assistant to the president, and other representatives from various departments and schools. 

At the meeting, Yang expressed his hopes that YNU could learn from Tianjin University’s growth and experience in conducting scientific research, developing professionals and engaging in social services.

Yang stated that YNU will focus on furthering its partnership with Tianjin University in commercializing research findings and cooperating with companies. 

Li briefed YNU representatives on the current status of Tianjin University and said that YNU has considerable merits to draw inspiration from. 

Both sides had an in-depth exchange in developing the disciplines, training professionals and conducting joint research.
