A 15-member delegation from Myanmar Ministry of Foreign Affairs visit Yunnan University to discuss issues revolving around enhancing cooperation and exchanges between China and Myanmar, on June 5.

A 15-member delegation from Myanmar Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited Yunnan University (YNU) to discuss issues revolving around enhancing cooperation and exchanges between China and Myanmar, on June 5.

YNU representatives led by Lin Wenxun, president of YNU, attended the meeting with the visiting delegation led by Wunna Han, vice-director of the Department of Political Affairs at the Myanmar foreign ministry. 

During the meeting, Lin briefed the guests on the current condition of YNU and the series of measures the university has taken to boost cooperation and exchanges between YNU and universities and institutions in Myanmar.

Lin expressed his desire for getting more support and help from the Myanmar foreign ministry.

Wunna Han thought highly of the positive changes at the university and spoke optimistically about the university’s future development. He vowed to offer necessary support for the university to boost the cooperation and exchanges between two sides.
