YNU science projects win fans at tech fair

Several Yunnan University (YNU) projects received positive feedback during the 2018 China University Scientific and Technological Achievements Fair in Huizhou, Guangdong, from May 24 to 27.

The fair, involving more than 350 domestic and foreign universities, is designed to build a bridge between higher education institutions and enterprises, in order to accelerate the process of turning research findings into products. 

Nearly 10,000 scientific projects were exhibited at the fair, with around 3,000 businesses and institutions in attendance looking for potential partnerships.

YNU exhibited 10 high-tech products that fell into the areas of new materials, energy saving and new energy, environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of resources during the fair –– winning praise off many of the visiting enterprises.

A couple of companies that attended the exhibition have reached preliminary agreements on a potential partnership with YNU.
