The men’s volleyball team from Yunnan University (YNU) won fourth place at the second Lancang-Mekong College Students’ Goodwill Games, held at Kunming University of Science and Technology, from May 21 to 28.

All teams taking part in the competition were from domestic universities, universities from countries along the Mekong River such as Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, as well as from countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia, including India, Bangladesh, Singapore and Malaysia. 

After several rounds of matches, the YNU team managed to clinch an impressive fourth place.

The competition is designed to enhance exchanges between China and neighboring countries, as well as between YNU and other universities in those neighboring countries.
