Li Li, a lecturer from the School of Journalism at Yunnan University (YNU), was invited to the annual conference of the International Communication Association (ICA) held from May 24 to 28, where she presented her research to the conference.

In her speech, Li outlined the contents of her paper submitted to the organization, which was titled Examining Factors Influencing Smartphone Addiction Among Organizational Workers in China.

The presentation of Li’s work marked the first time that a study by a YNU lecturer had made it to the ICA’s annual conference.

The ICA annual conference is the most influential global conference of its kind on human and mediated communication.
