A delegation led by Choltis Dhirathiti, secretary-general of the ASEAN University Network (AUN), visited Yunnan University (YNU) to examine the feasibility of YNU hosting the ninth AUN Foreign Affairs Leadership Conference, on May 22.

Zhang Li, vice-president of YNU, met with the delegation. During the meeting, he said that YNU was willing to be the host of the conference, and expressed hopes that YNU would be able to boost the partnership with AUN and other members of the organization through the conference. 

On behalf of AUN, Choltis Dhirathiti extended his thanks to YNU for its long-term support and expressed his confidence that YNU would be able to successfully host the conference after being shown around the campus.

AUN was established in 1995, with its secretariat based at Chulalongkon University in Thailand.

The organization aims to promote academic cooperation among ASEAN countries and enhance understanding between students from AUN members.
