A delegation led by Hou Shuqian, dean at Yunnan Provincial Academy of Science and Technology (YPAST), visited Yunnan University (YNU) to discuss the specifics of their future cooperation on the research of rare metals on May 23.

YNU held a meeting attended by Lin Wenxun, president of YNU; Zhang Li, vice-president of YNU, and the YPAST delegation.

During the meeting, Hou briefed the attendees on the current status of the development of major research on rare metallic materials in Yunnan province.

Lin also discussed the current progress of the ongoing scientific research at YNU and the development of its major disciplines.

The two sides reached consensus on a future plan for promoting a new partnership.
