An 18-member delegation from India’s Visva-Bharati University visited Yunnan University (YNU) as part of a cultural exchange program, on May 16.

The program, which will last until May 23, is designed to provide an opportunity for foreign students to learn more about China, and Yunnan province in particular.

At the opening ceremony, students from both universities exchanged gifts and put on performances featuring elements from their respective cultures.

Following the ceremony, visitors were shown around the campus and briefed on the history and present status of YNU.
