YNU professor recognized as national expert in archival sciences
Hua Lin, a professor at the School of History and Archives of Yunnan University (YNU) was selected for the list of national experts by the national archives authority, on April 17.
Professor Hua made it onto the list of 106 recognized experts after several rounds of examinations by archive authorities at different levels. He fell into the category of the selected group specializing in the study of arrival theories.
Interestingly, a further two professors selected for the list along with Professor Hua are former YNU staff.
The two professors are Wang Junyou, who is now a director at the General office of the Second Historical Archives of China; He Zheng, who is now a doctoral supervisor with his research interests focusing on archival sciences at Xiangtan University, and Yang Jiansheng, who is now the head of the Archives Management Office of Yunnan Provincial Archives Bureau.
