A group of architecture experts from THU visited the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at YNU to share architectural knowledge on April 1.
The visitors included Shan Deqi and Fa Dongjun, professors of the School of Architecture at THU; Ma Bingjian, president of the Traditional Architecture Branch of China Engineering and Consulting Association (CEDA); Fan Xiaopeng, professor of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Wang Yue, vice-president of Beijing Jiangong Architectural Design and Research Institute.
They were accompanied by Zhang Jun, dean of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at YNU.
During the seminar, the five experts shared their views and took questions on issues including urban village renovation, BIM technology in architecture, and academic innovation.
Shan Deqi then gave a special lecture on current trends in the industry, based on his knowledge and experience.
At the end of the lecture, Zhang Jun gave a brief summary of what had been discussed and expressed his gratitude for the exchange of views.
