A group led by Wang Zhonghong, an investigator from the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), president and Party secretary of China Economic Times, visited Yunnan University (YNU) on March 22.

The meeting was also attended by Yang Lin, Party secretary of Yunnan University; Lu Qinwen, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of YNU; Yang Zeyu, vice-president of the university, and various other delegates.

As a representative of the school, Yang Lin introduced the development of Yunnan University and the relevant measures for the development of disciplines.

He said that the forthcoming cooperation between Yunnan University and China Economic Times will inevitably have a positive effect on the economic development of Yunnan province and the development of major disciplines at the university.

Wang expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at Yunnan University and introduced the work of China Economic Times.

He expressed his belief that the agreement will promote the economic development of Yunnan province. At the same time, he made suggestions on further cooperation between the two parties.
