YNU signs MOU with NIIT

A group of representatives from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) visited Yunnan University (YNU) to discuss the direction of their future partnership, on March 19.

Led by Sapnesh Lalla, CEO at NIIT, the delegation also included Kamal Dhuper, CEO of NIIT China; Xu Haifeng, director for government affairs and business development at NIIT China, and Yuan Ye, director of NIIT in Southwest China.

Yang Lin, Party secretary at YNU and Zhang Li, vice-president at YNU, met the delegation.

During the meeting, Yang extended a welcome to the delegation and then briefed them on the current standing of YNU.

He also expressed his hopes to deepen cooperation with NIIT in more fields.

Lalla expressed his gratitude to YNU for their hospitality, and made a brief introduction on the current situation at NIIT.

He said that NIIT was willing to expand cooperation with YNU in more fields, and work together to promote the development of Yunnan’s IT industry.

On behalf of YNU, Zhang signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kamal Dhuper.

Founded in 1981, NIIT is now the world’s largest multinational company based in India that offers IT education and solutions to corporations, institutions and individuals.
