KFD representatives visit YNU

Several representatives from Russia’s Kazan Federal University (KFD) visited Yunnan University (YNU) to negotiate further cooperation, on Dec 14, 2017.
The visitors included Muhametzyanov Rustem Ravilovich, dean of the School of Information Technology and Systems; Safiullin Lenar Nailevich, vice-dean of the School of Financial Management, and other representatives from departments at KFD.
YNU faculty members led by Zhang Li, vice-president of YNU, met with the visitors from KFD.
The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly enhance cooperation on issues such as student exchanges and scientific research.
Founded in 1804, KFD was the third university in Russia after Saint Petersburg State University and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
It is regarded as one of the best universities in Russia, with alumni including Lenin and Tolstoy.
