YNU students honored at cryptarithm competition
Yunnan University (YNU) students were recognized at a cryptarithm competition held at Guangzhou University on Dec 3, 2017.
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Cyberspace Administration of China, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the competition was held by Guangzhou University.
The competition lasted five months, involving more than 130 teams from various universities and institutions. Four teams from YNU made it to the final, competing for the championship with an additional 29 teams.
Lu Zhengfu, a professor at YNU, received an award from the organizing committee to honor his work in helping to organize the participants.
Three students at YNU shared the second prize at the competition, and others were recognized for coming third. YNU also received an award for its organization of the competition.
