This is the first time for YNU to join the competition. It sent a cheerleader team consisting of six members to compete in three events after two months of intensified training, eventually leading to two golds for the team, showing the university's strength in sports and fitness.

With the backing of the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), the 13th competition is hosted by the Chinese Students Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics and Aerobics and Chun'an county government.
