Macquarie University delegation visits YNU

A delegation led by Nicole Brigg, vice president of Australia's Macquarie University visited Yunnan University, on Nov 20, 2017, where he was met by the latter's president, vice president, its international cooperation and exchange department and international school officials.
Lin Wenxun, president of Yunnan University, on behalf of the university, signed a supplementary agreement for their joint work in building Yunnan University Macquarie School, propelling the two universities' cooperation into a new phase.
The two sides hold a meeting on Nov 20, 2017.
During the meeting, Zhang Li, YNU vice president, extended his welcome to the delegation and spoke on the university's development in recent years and expressed his gratitude to Macquarie University for its support towards YNU's internationalization.
In response, Brigg congratulated Yunnan University on its involvement in China's "world top" university construction program and said that he anticipates more cooperation between the two sides in the future.
The two universities then discussed details in regard to Yunnan University Macquarie School construction.
Macquarie University delegation has a look at Donglu campus' landmarks, learning about YNU's history and culture.
Apart from the meeting, Philomena Leung from the Faculty of Business and Economics delivered an academic lecture for YNU's freshmen and sophomores in accounting, finance and international trade. The delegation also visited Donglu campus' landmarks, learning more about the university's history, culture and content.
