Purpose

In order to support educational development in the Chinese mainland, Hang Seng Bank Limited has set up the Hang Seng Bank Chinese Mainland Scholarship in Yunnan University. The scholarship aims to encourage students to study hard and cultivate more talents for the country.

Selection Scope

The scholarship shall be awarded to full-time students from the following schools and departments:

School of Economics: Departments of Economics, Accounting, Tax and Finance

School of Business Administration and Tourism Management: Departments of Business Administration, Financial Management

School of Humanities: Departments of Journalism

School of Resource and Environment and Geoscience: Departments of Resource and Environment and Urban-rural Planning Management

Eligibility

1. Excellent academic performance, active in extracurricular activities and community service.

2. Top 10 in the department or school's comprehensive assessment.

3. Students with difficult family finances are given priority on an equal basis.

Scholarship Amount

4,000 yuan ($604.82) each

Scholarship Quotas

One student from each of the following majors:

School of Economics: Economics, Accounting, Tax and Finance

School of Business Administration and Tourism Management: Business Administration, Financial Management

School of Humanities: Journalism

School of Resource and Environment and Geoscience: Resource and Environment and Urban-rural Planning Management
